There’s a huge amount of stuff doing the rounds on the web. Stuff for social networking, new software to do this and that… and just a tonne of ebooks claiming to be the golden bullet.

It is so easy to be pulled in and waste time going through all this stuff.

I’ve unsubscribed to a load of people as there’s just too much coming in. I’ve nailed down 3 or 4 people that I trust who I’m happy to get information from on a regular basis. They tend to have the widest possible view about the online world.

Yes they sell stuff, (they have to earn a living right?) but there’s far more content being delivered than selling going on. Which in my mind is spot on. Why?

Well… as the saying goes the more you tell the more you sell. I feel loyal to these guys and gals who deliver such valuable info.

If you’re being drown with emails and you’re finding it a challenge to get work done because of the constant interruptions, then decide on the few people you enjoy getting emails from and politely dump the rest. You’ll feel better once it’s done, I did.
