I was listening to an interview last night. A guy from Cananda, Jit Upal was asked to share what he has learned about Twitter and for the short period he’s been tweetting… how has he become so successful.
There’s alwasy one thing in an interview like this, that has tremendous take-home value. That one thing for me was Cli.gs.
In essence Cli.gs helps you understand the traffic you’re getting on Twitter. So if you want to know whether anybody out there cares what you’re tweeting about Cli.gs gives you the stats and shares with you how many people are passing your tweets on. Nice!
Or as they say in Twitterland Retweetting. (RT)
I know… if this is the first time you’re hearing this language, it sounds alien right :o)
But I can tell you… Twitter is such an engaging tool, you can loose hours in a blink of an eye. So if you get a twitter account be aware of how this thing can suck you in. Limit the amount of time you spend on it and you’ll be fine and building an army of followers in no time.
What else does Cli.gs do? Well I’ll tell’ya…
As soon as I saw this, my eyes sprung open, and a involuntary grin appeared on my face. It tracks who clicking on your links and it can give you some key information on which email campaigns are working the best. I thought what a fantastic tool for testing as well.
Take a look for yourself and see how it can help you. (That’s if you’re on Twitter) If you’re not and you’re running a business, there’s an opportunity here for you to leverage this tool in such a way that it’ll be position you positively if you use it right.
